The Activities Assistant is responsible for conducting daily activities as scheduled in the health care and Assisted Living. Plan activities and develop new activities if needed.Conduct one on one room visits, initial assessments/interviews with residents, maintain attendance records, and assist with documentation of residents' progress.Able to work a flexible schedule to include every other weekend and some holidays.Must be friendly, and personable with residents, families and co-workers. Excellent communication skills. Able to work in a diverse cultural setting and is flexible. Excellent organizational skills, good computer skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a caring and compassionate manner.Experience: Preferred-Experience working with the elderly in an activity program or residential setting.Competitive wages.
