The job requires reading and understanding detailed written manufacturing procedures, performing delicate assembly operations by hand, or using machines and tools at various work center. All assembly, safety, and inspection requirements must be followed and achieved in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with posted schedules and standards. Operations include but are not limited to:

• Cutting
• Grinding
• Drilling
• Tamping
• Shaping
• SolderingYour primary responsibilities include:
  • Operate production line machinery, hand tools and computers
  • Perform equipment changeovers and set-ups
  • Perform in-process quality inspections. Make necessary adjustments to produce within specifications.
  • Rejects products outside specifications
  • Follow standard operating procedures and job safety analysis
  • Complete daily production logs
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Other duties as assignedAdditional Responsibilities
    • Assist maintenance personnel in repair work
    • Provide on-the-job training to new employees
      • Qualifications, Knowledge and Kills Requirements:
        • Ability to read, write and speak English
        • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills, which are normally acquired thought a high school diploma or equivalent
        • Ability to read, understand and precisely follow detailed written instructions, specifications and drawings
        • Ability to read small scales and measuring instruments
        • Ability to concentrate on what is being done for extensive periods of time
        • Hands on and mechanical inclination
        • Self-motivated and a good team member
        • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers
        • Detail oriented
        • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
        • Ability to stand up to 90% of the timeREQUIRED SKILLS
        • Assembly line experience in a manufacturing setting
        • Familiarity with machinery and hand tools
        • Mechanical training and or schooling preferredJOB SPECIFICATIONSThis position is to be filled starting in May 2022. Working Conditions:Conditions are consistent with other similar manufacturing environments. Work involves prolonged standing and frequent lifting of products and material up to 50 lbs. Machinery operation requires use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection and safety (steel toe) boots. Loose fitting clothes, shorts pants, sleeveless shirts and jewelry are not allowed.Working hours: 40 H/week on site. Two shifts available: 6am-2:30p and 2:30p - 11pm1st shift: Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm2nd shift: Monday thru Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
