Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements

  • Patient Care & Communication:
    • Verify patient ID as per AHS policy
    • Communicate effectively with patients/families throughout procedures
    • Observe patients post-contrast injection; report any complications
    • Screen for allergies, medication incompatibilities
    • Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate measures
    • Clinical Operations:
      • Perform CT scans per protocol
      • Follow HIPAA and infection control practices
      • Adhere to room assignments and ensure cleanliness (CT1, CT2, CT3)
      • Maintain adequate stock of supplies, contrast media, and equipment
      • Maintain QA/QC standards (daily/monthly/ACR)
      • Workflow Management (Point Role):
        • Triage and coordinate emergent and unscheduled procedures
        • Assign staff for optimal workflow
        • Communicate with floors and departments on patient statuses
        • Assist in performing routine scans and manage immediate post-procedure transport
        • Imaging & Reporting:
          • Send and verify images in PACS/RIS (especially urgent cases: Code Grey, Trauma)
          • Notify Radiologist during and after emergency image acquisition
          • Report any unusual findings immediately
          • Equipment Management:
            • Clean gantry, table, and equipment after each use
            • Recognize and report malfunctions
