Overview The Assistant Technical Manager works closely with the
Technical Manager to support all technical aspects of events and
screenings, ensuring flawless execution that meets Firmdale Hotels’
standards of excellence. This role collaborates with clients,
internal teams, and IT to troubleshoot, prepare, and deliver
high-profile film, television, and corporate events in a fast-paced
luxury hospitality environment. Required Education & Experience
Degree or certificate in Audio Engineering or a related field
Minimum of one (1) year of event technology experience, preferably
within hospitality or live events Knowledge & Skills Strong
understanding of film and television post-production workflows,
including projection and technical direction Experience supporting
film screenings, live video, and audiovisual-based events Ability
to work effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
Working knowledge of relevant software, systems, and programming
tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
strong attention to detail Core Competencies Customer Orientation:

logically, evaluates alternatives, and implements effective

Essential Functions Assist the Technical Manager in managing all
technical needs for events and functions Execute planned workflows
for major film and television premieres, corporate AV events, and
press junkets Travel between Firmdale properties as needed to
support events Coordinate delivery, testing, and preparation of
event content, including DCPs, KDMs, video files, and client
presentations Communicate with clients via email and in person
regarding AV requirements, tech checks, and event logistics Support
project execution, equipment setup, testing, and routine
maintenance Ensure all technical output meets Firmdale quality
standards Oversee equipment testing, report findings, and assist
with adjustments as needed Maintain clear and consistent
communication regarding progress, timelines, and changes Build and
maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and
prospective clients Schedule Requirements Ability to work weekends,
evenings, and early mornings as required by event schedules
Physical Requirements Ability to work at a computer and handle
technical documentation Frequent verbal and written communication
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and work on feet for
extended periods Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to travel independently between properties Employee
