Responsibilities: Follow up with designers/merchandisers on developments of packaging design/structure. Communicate information on materials and packaging design with suppliers to get proto samples and negotiate prices. Review and give comments / approval for the packaging samples. Follow workflow and sign-off protocols. Work with Quality Control and legal to understand warning labels and other legal packaging requirements. Organize packaging details with prices information by customers, enter data in PLM, and communicate the information to cross-functional teams and overseas offices/factories. Provide updates on all projects to the Manager. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 3 years in packaging sourcing/development experience. Ability to work independently. expert skills in microsoft word / excel and adobe CC. Excellent communications skills Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Detail orientated and strong organizational skills. Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $30.00 - $34.00/hour.
