We offer a generous compensation package with benefit coverages beginning on your first day with us at Trademasters!Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring skill and knowledge in such trades as heating and refrigeration, air conditioning equipment, painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work involves a variety of the following duties: replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings, repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks, replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, hanging doors and installing door locks, replacing broken window panes, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.Must possess and own a variety of hand tools and measuring and testing instruments necessary to complete assignments;Collect and take tools and materials to the job sites;Remove nuts, bolts, protective grills and covers;Clean parts and assemblies with solvents;Hold parts in position for assembly or disassembly;Clean work areas and remove debris upon job completion;Wipe and lubricate pumps, motors, fans and other equipment;Keep Drip pans clean and free from excessive oil;Wash out and scrub the cooling towers from the air conditioning equipment;Remove, clean and/or replace filters on various types of equipment;Record temperature and pressure gauge readings;Make minor repairs to equipment, e.g., diffusers, access panels, etc.Help maintain a clean, orderly appearance of machinery, spaces and equipment;Keep utility, locker and stock rooms in tidy, well-stocked condition;Check expiration dates on fire extinguisher; andServe as an assistant to the Leads in the operation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of both major and minor building systems; andPerform other duties onsite as assigned.Other Skills:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.Able to communicate/speak in English is required.Physical Requirements:Ability to reach, sit, walk, climb, bend, kneel, pull and push for extended periods of timeAbility to reach and work with hands raised above headMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, as neededCOVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees will be required to adhere to Trademasters vaccination policy.
