Exciting opportunity to join a growing IT team as the organization is about to embark on a digital transformation journey. The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the needs of the various functional business areas within IWS and provide system solutions or procedures. As a liaison between the business and IT department, the Business Analyst ensures that the scope of work requested to enhance or modify existing application processes are clearly documented, communicated and validated. The Business Analyst works closely with the IT technical team and/or outside vendors to design, develop, document and test solutions that meets the business requirements. Business Analyst also helps with creating training documentation and helps implement new solutions and progressively make changes to improve applications further.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the process of obtaining functional requirements from applicable business stakeholders and subject matter experts utilizing elicitation techniques.
• Creates detailed documentation of functional, system (non-functional), user and reporting requirements that may include but is not limited to: Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams.
• Serves as the primary liaison and point of contact between IT and the assigned functional business areas for routine software development and enhancement projects.
• Transforms into Subject Matter expert for assigned functions / processes/new applications.
• Evaluates current training methods and materials for assigned group an recommend improvements. Reviews and creates training as needed.
  • Responsible for the knowledge transfer of software program requirements to the IT Support team throughout the life cycle of a change request or development project.
  • Performs profiling and analysis of data from source systems and helps map into destination systems.
  • Supports quality assurance and control efforts through the use of data analysis as part of pre- and post-implementation reviews for software development projects.
  • Provides support to functional and user acceptance testing groups as part of project implementation.
  • Maintains and builds working relationships with software application vendors.
    • Performs other job related duties as assigned. Qualifications:
      • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience in Business Administration or similar area of study.
      • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
      • Ability to handle change, multitask and keep up with a fast pace and consistently growing environment.
        • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
        • Should have requirement gathering and documentation experience
          Should be able to work closely with the business stakeholders and work towards the solutioning of the requirements
        • Effective written and verbal communication
        • Experience in salesforce or any CRM solution preferred
          • Experience in any ERP solution preferred
          • Experience working with offshore development team preferred Career opportunities
